Diving from the resort
The resort was built for divers, with its dive centre on site and the water a few steps away.
The dive centre
The resort has a full-service dive centre and offers PADI courses. Underwater photo and video services are also available at the resort.
Mabul
Mabul is known for small marine life. Its reefs are shallow and sloping, with sand, coral rubble and sea grass, and currents are mild. Divers look for cuttlefish, octopus, nudibranchs, seahorses, pipefish and frogfish.
Kapalai
Kapalai is surrounded by coral reef. Turtles, moray eels, octopus, cuttlefish and many small creatures are seen there.
Sipadan
Sipadan is a protected area and is known for wall diving and large marine life. Diving at Sipadan requires Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent. The number of permits per day is limited, so ask about Sipadan when you enquire.
