Arrive in Tawau
Tawau Airport is the closest airport to Mabul and Sipadan, with flights from Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur. Share your proposed flight details before finalising travel arrangements, so that your arrival can be matched to a boat departure.
Continue to Semporna
From Tawau Airport the journey continues by road to Semporna, where the boat transfer begins from the resort’s private jetty. The road transfer from Tawau Airport to Semporna takes about 80 to 90 minutes; the boat from Semporna to Mabul takes about 45 minutes.
Across to Mabul
From Semporna a speedboat takes you to the resort on Mabul Island. Boats run at set times through the day, so confirm transfer arrangements for your dates before booking flights.
Transfers with your stay
The resort package includes the meet and land transfer from Tawau Airport to Semporna and the boat transfer to Mabul, both ways. Sipadan Island is about 20 minutes by boat from the resort.
